530 Login Authentication Failed: Error in FileZilla

As you know, FileZilla is a FTP Client which allows user to remotely connect to the server. When you connect your FTP Client with the server you have to enter some credentials and then only you can connect to your server. So, today we will learn about an error that occurred when you tried to login to FileZilla.

Error in cPanel

Let us know why this happens and how can we resolve it. But before proceeding further let me tell you that I have created the FTP Account in my cPanel of REDSERVERHOST and using FileZilla as a FTP Client.
I've also been stuck into the situation when I have faced the same error. This error occurs when user enters wrong username or password while connecting to the FTP server.

Login Error

To fix the issue, you must have the access to your cPanel account. If you do not have then you can contact your server admin for the same. Follow the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue.

1. Check the Username which you are entering while connecting to your server. You can check this from FTP Accounts section in cPanel.

2. Check the password that you are entering. If you are not sure you can change the password because cPanel does not allow you to check existing password.

3. You can also check the FTP Server Port, which is by default set to 21. Check if it also present.

After checking for all the settings. You can now try to login with the correct credentials that will result in successfully connecting to your FTP Server.

Hope this may help you resolve the query. We will learn more about the errors that occur in cPanel and its features.

Till then Happy Reading !
