There are many errors that occur while doing tasks in cPanel. This is possible as cPanel allows user to manage almost everything related to website,i.e, from managing files and directories of a website to adding addon domains and sub domains and management of them as well. Many a time error occurs because of simple mistakes and we get panic for the same. Today, I'm sharing an article that will help you to fix one of the error that occurs while adding addon domain in cPanel, i.e. "Could not determine the nameserver IP address for domain.com".
The error can be fixed with simple steps but you must have access of VPS or Dedicated server. If you do not have the same then you can contact your service provider and they will fix it within minutes.
Follow the below given steps that will help you to fix the error "Could not determine the nameserver IP address for domain.com".
  • First, login to WHM panel having root privileges.
  • Select Server Configuration from the left panel list.
  • Then select Tweak Settings from the list of tools.
  • On the next page, there are multiple tabs. Select the Domains tab.
  • Scroll down to section, Allow unregistered domains. By default the setting is updated as OFF, mark it ON.
  • Scroll down and Save.
Hence done !!
