Images: Feature in cPanel
We all know that cPanel has various features that allows user to do modifications in the website data. Today we are going to discuss about one such feature of cPanel that allows user to do modifications in the images present inside cPanel File Manager. This is Images. Interface of this feature can be used to modify the images of the website with which you can create thumbnails, change size and format of the images. Let us know about this feature in detail.
Create Image Thumbnails
You can create thumbnails with Images feature in cPanel. Follow the below given steps to create thumbnails in cPanel.
- Login to cPanel account.
- Select Images in the Files section.
- On the next page, click over Thumbnailer and proceed.
- Either click on the directory icon to select a particular image or click on the directory name to select all the images of the particular directory.
- Enter the Scale Percent as per your choice and then Thumbnail Images.
Change Size of Images
This interface has the feature with which you can modify the size of the images present inside File Manager. You do not have to spend time in scaling or resizing them before you upload the images to the site. Continue follow the given steps to change image sizes in cPanel.
- In Images page, click over Scaler and proceed.
You can also change the format of your website images with this feature of cPanel. Let's see how to change image formats in cPanel?
- Select Converter option in the Images Interface.
- On the next page, click over the directory icon to navigate the image file of which you want to change the format or click over the directory name to change the image format of all the images present inside particular directory.
- Select the image format from the drop down button and then click over Convert.
